Albert Bandura to speak at MPA

BanduraAlbert Bandura, the David Starr Jordan Professor Emeritus of Social Science in Psychology at Stanford University, will be the Psi Chi Distinguished Speaker at this year's Annual Meeting. Dr. Bandura has made significant contributions to many fields of psychology, including social cognitive theory, therapy, and personality psychology. He has also been influential in the transition between behaviorism and cognitive psychology. Dr. Bandura is known as the originator of social learning theory and the theory of self-efficacy, and is probably most famous for his 1961 Bobo doll study.
