Article 3.2.a: MEMBERSHIP

a. Article 3.1: There shall be two classes of membership in the Association and those classes shall be Member or Fellow.

b. Article 3.3: Those eligible as Fellows are persons who have made significant and unusual contributions to the science of psychology and/or to the Midwestern Psychological Association and have at least five (5) years' experience subsequent to the doctoral degree. Fellow status shall be determined by the MPA Council and, after approval, those so named shall be announced to the membership as Fellows.

Rationale: MPA Council voted to designate as Fellows those who have made significant contributions to psychology or to MPA. New Fellows will be recognized each year at our annual meeting.
